One person per group keeps the card.

Every session on the card counts toward the team score.

Format

A team event over three days with 16 points available. The first team to 8½ points wins the PF Invitational.

Picking the matches

Each team picks its pairings and singles players, in order. Matches are decided by the order the pairings are picked.

Handicaps

The handicap committee decides handicaps for the competition. Players with a fully developed WHS handicap play off their index for round 1. The committee may make alterations after round 1.

Days 1 and 2: fourball matchplay

Standard matchplay fourball. The best stableford score on the hole wins the hole. If all players score zero on a hole, the hole is halved. Four points each day.

Day 3: singles matchplay

Every player plays a singles match, again picked in order by each team. Eight points available.

Points

Win 1. Half ½. Loss 0. Saturday at Dom Pedro Laguna is worth 4, Sunday at Vale do Lobo Ocean is worth 4, and Monday at Vale do Lobo Royal is worth 8.
